Regulatory Status.
Duma Commodities Exchange Limited (DMX) has submitted its application for an Exchange licence to the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) of Kenya and is awaiting completion of the CMA's regulatory review and approval process.
DMX is continuing its institutional, technology, governance and market development activities in preparation for its proposed operations.
Submission of an Exchange licence application does not constitute regulatory approval or authorisation to commence exchange operations.
Trading, clearing, settlement, membership activation and other regulated services will commence only after the necessary approvals and operational requirements have been satisfied.
